3.1     Power Supply Configuration (Symbol 3-1)

 

There are currently 10 alphabetic options assigned to the first group of the Power Supply Subsystem classification code to define a power supply type:

A – AIO with Replaceable battery for APVs or EHs

or

Non-replaceable power supply for CLs or HWOVs or HDs

B –AIO with Replaceable battery for APVs or EHs

or

Replaceable battery for CLs or HWOVs or HDs

C –      PS for PODs for APVs

D –      Battery Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs or EHs

E – Battery Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs or EHs

F –       Box Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs

G –      Box Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs

H – Mechanical Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs

I –        Mechanical Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs

J – AC adapter for EHs or HWOVs

K- Box Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

L- Box Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

M- Box Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, with electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

N- Box Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, with electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

O – Mechanical Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

P – Mechanical Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

Q – Mechanical Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs with built-in reservoir for liquid, with electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

R – Mechanical Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs with built-in reservoir for liquid, with electric liquid pump (For Squonk System)

 

3.1.1     Power Supply Configuration of CLs

A – Non-Replaceable Power Supply (for CLs)

This option includes devices with a power supply that cannot be repaired or replaced.

 

B – Replaceable Power Supply (for CLs)

This option includes devices with a power source that can be replaced.

3.1.2     Power Supply Configuration of APVs and EHs

A – AIO with Replaceable Battery (for APVs or EHs)

This option includes devices in which the liquid tank and atomizer are made in a one-piece integral body together with a power supply module (All In One) and have a replaceable battery. Devices of this type are equipped with an electronic PCB, which controls the discharge of the battery and the level of charge. Some models support user control of the voltage applied to the evaporation module.

 

B – AIO with Non-Replaceable Battery(for APVs or EHs)

This option includes devices in which the liquid tank and atomizer are made in a one-piece integral body together with a power supply module (All In One) and have a non-replaceable battery. Devices of this type are equipped with an electronic PCB, which controls the discharge of the battery and the level of charge. Some models support user control of the voltage applied to the evaporation module.

 

C – PS for PODs (for APVs )

This option includes devices that are used with replaceable POD tanks.  The power source has a built-in non-replaceable battery and is equipped with a printed circuit board, which controls the battery discharge and charge level. The power source may be equipped with a control button, and may also not have a control button. In this case, the activation occurs during puffing by the user.

 

D – Battery Mod with Non-Replaceable Battery(ies)

(for APVs)

This option includes devices with power supply module and with one or several non-replaceable batteries and outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.

 

E – Battery Mod with Replaceable Battery(ies) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a cylindrically shaped power supply module and with one or several replaceable batteries.  It is sized as 20 mm or more in the lateral direction and outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.  This device support user’s control of voltage applied to the evaporation module.

 

F – Box Mod with Non-Replaceable Battery(ies) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply for evaporation modules configured as a 3D box, cube, prism, flask or any similar shape.  It has one or several non-replaceable batteries and is outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.  This device supports user’s control of voltage applied to the evaporation module.

 

G – Box Mod with Replaceable Battery(ies) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply for evaporation modules configured as a 3D box, cube, prism, flask or any similar shape.  It has one or several replaceable batteries and is outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.  This device supports user’s control of voltage applied to the evaporation module. 

 

H – Mechanical Mod with Non-Replaceable Battery(ies)

(for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply of optional shape and with one or several non-replaceable batteries and has no PCB.

This option includes devices with an additional power source and one or more non-replaceable batteries and does not have a power system to adjust power. In this embodiment, the power current is switched by a control button. The button is designed for high currents of 20-80 Amperes.

In another embodiment, the device may be equipped with a PCB with power transistors, so that the switching of the supply current occurs through them, and not through the control button.

 

I – Mechanical Mod with Replaceable Battery(ies) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply of optional shape and with one or several replaceable batteries and has no system to adjust power. In this embodiment, the power current is switched by a control button. The button is designed for high currents of 20-80 Amperes.

In another embodiment, the device may be equipped with a PCB with power transistors, so that the switching of the supply current occurs through them, and not through the control button.

 

J – AC Adapter (for APVs or EHs)

This option includes EHs devices powered from the AC mains supply.

 

K –Box Mod power supply with a non-replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply for evaporation modules configured as a 3D box, cube, prism, flask or any similar shape.  It has one or several non-replaceable batteries and is outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.  This device supports user’s control of voltage applied to the evaporation module.

The device has a soft reservoir for liquid, that the user compresses from time to time to create pressure in the reservoir. Under pressure, the liquid flows through a special channel into the Squonk Tank, which is installed on the device.

 

L –Box Mod power supply with a replaceable battery for APVs, with built-in reservoir for liquid, without electric liquid pump (For Squonk System) (for APVs)

This option includes devices with a power supply for evaporation modules configured as a 3D box, cube, prism, flask or any similar shape.  It has one or several replaceable batteries and is outfitted with an electronic PCB chip that controls the battery discharge and charge levels.  This device supports user’s control of voltage applied to the evaporation module.

The device has a liquid reservoir in which an electric pump for pumping fluid is integrated. Under the pressure that the pump creates, liquid flows through a special channel into the Squonk Tank, which is installed on the device.
